New drawing challenge: The March's Triad

The March's Triad
Drawing the human body

In March I start a new project that will begin the third day of the month! This time, I decided to open it to other participants.

The goal is to make a drawing a day for a month. Except this time, it won't be one drawing a day, but 3! Three drawings that makes one, and the topic will be the human body in it's three most difficult parts: portrait, full body and the hand. The nightmare of any novice designers!

Some people practice drawing for years but they avoid carefully to work on the representation of the body, and we can understand: the human body is so difficult! This project proposes to achieve every day a fast sketch with one hand, a full body and a portrait. Making each according to your own abilities and requirements (you don't need to be the new Da Vinci!).

This project is a challenge based on the model of Inktober, so the goal is mainly to motivate, to practice regularly and take working habits. There is no question to put pressure, to force or be disgusted! Rather, it is about creating an online movement, a community board on the same subject for a month to motivate each other, and trying to find ways to practice drawing despite constraints of everyday life!

As it is not always easy, solutions are offered to those who don't have time. For example, even though I said at the beginning that it was  "one drawing a day", I propose two speeds for this challenge: for those who have the time, it is possible to make a drawing a day, therefore to achieve 31 drawings, from March 3th to April 3th. But for those who are busier, it is also possible to make it last longer. For these people, the challenge would last from March 3th to April 14th, and then they would perform 5 drawings per week, thus leaving the weekend free!

I hope many of you will join me on this project! Do not forget to use the hashtag #MarchsTriad to publish your products on social networks!
