It was not easy, the third part was so hard it became interesting. Obviously this will cause many organizational changes over the next self-challenge (because yes, there will be more!).
So yes, let's be realistic: the challenges, one drawing a day, ideally it's cool, in fact, it is tough to respect. It was easier with Inktober for two reasons (even three): first I was not alone, millions of other people were doing the same thing, it was motivating! Then, the ink drawings are generally quick to make. And finally, I had chosen not to invent anything, but to copy from a model, I made copies of Pokemons designs.
This time, I have not copied at all. The work was very slowed down because of the out-of-inspiration phases, and other moments of reflection, which made the achievement much more complex and lengthy. Doing a drawing every day with Pokemon was easy, but with the chairs, it was realy hard.
The evolution of this self-challenge could clearly be represented as a parable: at first I was not convinced I hesitated a lot, and then I started to like it, and it finally fell, and I started to question myself a lot about the organization, how I will manage the future challenges, etc.
You need to know about that one that I really looked up for the time schedules around the world ^^ I had a Web page right before me that showed me cities and time, I started drawing at 15.18 , and normally , all data schedules correspond to the time lags!
A mechanical chair, and two chairs with architectural transformations!
With this one I tried to do something more original , I drew a chair with my pencil , then I made all the scenery around , and finally I've erased the chair that appeared then in negative.
One day someone told me "hey, you should do a Godemichaise!" (in french: "gode michet" = Dildo, and "chaise" = chair, so in english it would be "Dildo Chair"). And i finaly did it! I hope it won't shock anybody.
28: Organ Chair, 29: Swarm Chair: For the two bur last , I returned to the principle of change the appearance of the chair. I have directly drawn in ink on the swarm chair, and I was happy with the result , so I decided to do the same for the final one.
At first sight, the last one is like the others, except that it is full of details , various objects. We must not seek any consistency , the goal was just to draw a mount of things taking the shape of a chair. I'm challenging you to find one little heart , an illuminati eye and a xylophone.
A new project is already in sight for the next challenge! But this time I will apply what I have learned during the last project : mainly , not make a drawing a day , it is not easy to manage. It will be only on weekdays. The advantage is that it will last longer ! And it will leave me much more time to put in a plug on my sites, because the attendance is not really effective : /
Some clues about the next project : once assembled, insulated drawings will form a larger one, the theme will be the city, and you may be required to take a lot of choices in the general direction of the project :)
